In the state’s wealthiest Congressional district, class warfare is alive and well — but this time it’s a Republican spanking a Democrat.
Republican Dan Debicella, a former manager at the world’s largest hedge fund, says that U.S. Rep. Jim Himes “has spent the last few winters skiing in Vail” and while in Washington he can Image may be NSFW.

Debicellla emailed reporters campaign disclosure documents detailing trips Himes has made to Vail.
Debicella, whose former employer, Bridgewater Associates, received $100 million in assistance from the state, said “all you have to do is connect the dots to see how entrenched Jim has become in the Washington culture.”
UPDATE: Elizabeth Kerr, a spokeswoman for Himes, said: “Jim Himes has spent the last five years fighting for the middle class by standing up for the Affordable Care Act, helping to write Wall Street reform, and protecting the environment. Dan Debicella’s record puts him on the wrong side of all these issues.”
